Hi, its been so long since I've been here... I'm John Chapple. I still have the old Demon account but posting from Gmail seems easier. Can someone suggest a good group for a networking problem. I have three internet connections (^ ^) I can simply crosslink the routers. With three seperate default gateways. The result seems to work ok, I get the same 5 megabits per line as I do if they're not interconnected. It means that the networked printers can be shared by everyone. But maybe it's theoretically wrong and a lot of unseen errors are being generated?

This is probably as good a group as any.

You should give us more technical detail - for example, what do you mean
by "crosslinked".

Perhaps some explanation - three internet connections - why? Increased
performance? Better reliability? Some other consideration?

What routers do you have? Did you consider a single router to manage
all the connections, with load sharing, or bonding? Do you need
services such as LAN-LAN VPN?

Look forward to hearing from you ...
